You are invited to participate in a research study being conducted by Felix O. Abayomi, a Doctor of Education candidate in Educational and Professional Practice at Antioch University.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate and refine a mobile app prototype designed to support human–wildlife conflict prevention and resolution. The study seeks to better understand what information, features, and safeguards people believe are important in a mobile application intended to provide encounter guidance, wildlife reporting, and community communication.
You are being invited because your knowledge, experience, or interest in human–wildlife encounters, conservation, environmental education, or related fields may provide valuable perspectives.
If you choose to participate, you will be asked to participate in a one-on-one interview lasting approximately 45 to 60 minutes. The interview will be conducted virtually using a secure video conferencing platform or by telephone, depending on your preference. With your permission, the interview will be audio-recorded solely for the purpose of accurate transcription.
Participation is entirely voluntary. You may decline to participate, skip any question, or withdraw from the study at any time without penalty.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate and refine a mobile app prototype designed to support human–wildlife conflict prevention and resolution. As part of the study, a Modified Delphi process will be used to obtain expert consensus regarding the prototype's proposed features, ethical safeguards, and governance mechanisms.
You are being invited because of your expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Human–wildlife conflict
- Wildlife conservation
- Environmental education
- Conservation governance
- Responsible innovation
- Mobile technology
- User experience design
If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete two online Delphi questionnaires, with a possible third round only if additional consensus is needed. Each round is expected to require approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
Participation is voluntary. You may discontinue participation at any time without penalty.
